With thanks to Mark and Lyn (Mr & Mrs Subway!) and their Manager Ryan Bragg. For raising money for Club 2000 this year. So far club have been given over £500 and there is more to come! This is raised at the Cosford Subway and Garage. Its very generous of them. Thank you from everyone at Club 2000. Ricky from King Cone kindly came to Club 2000 on one of our recent club nights and gave all of the members and volunteers a free ice cream. Everyone was so pleased! King Cone are available to attend events, weddings, birthdays and school fates!

Andy   Walsh   had   a   target   to   raise   £200.00   for Club   2000   when   he   cut   off   his   beard.   He   went through    with    it    and    actually    exceeded    his goal, he raised nearly £300.00. Well done Andy!
On    Sunday    March    25th    Rob    Raine completed      the      Ironbridge      half   Marathon    to    raise    funds    for    Club 2000.   It   was   a   lovely   morning   and he   was   excited   about   the   run.   he   had been   training   hard   to   prepare   himself for   the   run.   It   was   the   perfect   day for   running   and   the   sun   was   shining which   helped   me   keep   his   spirits   up. The   13.1   miles   course   started   inside the    town    park    with    a    small    loop around   the   park,   then   he   made   his way   on   to   the   Silkin   way   which   is lovely   and   flat.   Then   he   ran   past   Blist Hill    and    then    a    little    further    into    the    lovely    surroundings    of Coalport,   over   the   Coalport   bridge   onto   the   other   side   of   the   River Severn   and   over   the   famous   Ironbridge,   turning   left   and   headed towards   Dale   End   Park   and   then   up   a   very   steep   hill   which   took     him   into   Coalbrookdale.   From   there   he   had   to   go   though   a   muddy rough   park   where   his   running   shoe   fell   off,   getting   stuck   in   the mud.   Once   his   shoe   was   back   on   he   was   nearly   at   mile   10   which took   him   on   to   the   Silkin   way   again   towards   the   finish   line   at   the Arena   in   the   town   park.   He   was   glad   to   finish   and   get   a   good   time of 1hr 59 mins. Rob raised £275.00 for Club 2000. Well done Rob!
